Leaping Forward into a Prosperous Future | Lamipak R&D Headquarters Inauguration and New Materials Project Signing Ceremony

On the morning of May 22nd, the inauguration of the Lamipak R&D Headquarters and the signing ceremony for the New Materials Project were held on the first floor of our new office building. More than 20 government officials—including Chen Liyan, Secretary of the Kunshan Municipal Party Committee; Sun Daoxun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Kunshan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone; and Yang Feng, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone—along with representatives from the Bureau of Investment Promotion, Bureau of Safety and Environment, Bureau of Planning and Construction, and Bureau of Comprehensive Enforcement, graced the event.

They joined Lamipak’s senior leadership, including Chairman Mr. Huang Qiang, Vice Chairman Mr. Anil, and General Manager Mr. Song Jun, as well as department heads, partner representatives, and Kunshan media to witness this milestone moment, highlighting the company's strength and social influence.

A Decade of Growth and Global Ambition Lamipak specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of aseptic liquid food packaging materials. Deeply rooted in Kunshan for 11 years, Lamipak’s production scale and market share have surged to the top three domestically and fifth globally. The completion and inauguration of this R&D Headquarters will create an integrated "Industry-University-Research-Application" platform. This will significantly bolster R&D efforts for aseptic packaging and various new materials, further enhancing international competitiveness and reshaping the global market landscape.

Investment in Innovation and Sustainability Building on our existing manufacturing scale for aseptic packs and paper straws, Lamipak plans to introduce new projects, including extrusion coating and bottle caps, as well as Phase IV future planning, with a total investment exceeding 3 billion RMB.

• The Extrusion Coating Project: This project will utilize advanced aluminum-free processes. Once at full capacity, it will support the production of 30 billion aseptic packs, making products more aligned with the high demand from international clients for green, recyclable packaging materials.

• The Bottle Cap Project: Aimed at developing and producing sealed film-cutting caps for aseptic packaging, this will diversify our product line and provide customers with higher-quality options, greatly enhancing market competitiveness.

Furthermore, our Phase III Aseptic Liquid Packaging Project, which received additional investment in 2023, is currently under intensive construction. Equipment installation is expected to be completed by December 2025, followed by trial production. Once fully operational, it will produce 30 billion aseptic liquid food packs annually with sales reaching 5 billion RMB, positioning it to become the world’s largest single factory for aseptic liquid food packaging.
